She asked if I thought her haircut was cool,
and I said that it was,
but cool like wearing your socks as a tie.
What I meant was that wearing your socks as a tie
would someday, perhaps, be cool, and you could even
sort of see how it might happen that it would be,
but it wasn't, yet.
